Rock and Ice Climbing Schools

Cloudpslitter's Rock and Ice Climbing Schools are open enrollment top-rope programs that sample the region's wealth of accessible technical rock and ice climbing terrain in a unique small group format, under the supervision and instruction of experienced DEC licensed guides and AMGA certified guide/instructors. zander-_petes_farewell_corner.jpg

Schools are open to all novice, beginner and intermediate climbers interested in broadening their skills and experience in a fun, relaxed and professionally managed setting.

Guides will select a mix of appropriate objectives for the day, review relevant skills and provide on-going instruction and coaching. Schools are offered at a flat rate of $110 per person, with a maximum enrollment of four participants per guide.

Larger groups may be assigned an additional guide and subdivided into smaller subgroups to utilize separate locations. All technical equipment is provided, and specialized footwear (climbing shoes or mountain boots) are available for rent nearby at the Mountaineer- mountaineer.com

Climbing Schools originate at 8:30 am at Riverside Basecamp and return @ 4 p.m. *Please note- If enrollment does not meet a minimum of 2 participants, school may be shortened to a half-day or private guiding rates will apply.
