Happy Thanksgiving!
Despite a surprisingly temperate November, we finally got our first big winter storm last week. This storm brought over a foot of snow to the area and it was great to get out for several days of skiing. On Thanksgving day, we skinned up the closed trails of Whiteface Mountain and were rewarded with fresh tracks in deep, heavy snow for the ride down (check out the video below!). Temperatures may have warmed up again, and we'lll enjoy it while it lasts, but sustained cold is just around the corner. We're definitely looking forward to more skiing and ice climbing!
