Clear skies and splitter cracks
Late summer is the best time for rock climbing in the Adirondacks. Cool weather and clear skies are typical- and mid-week you have the cliffs to yourselves. Our long-time friend and guest Domenic came down recently to work on his tick list: the uber-classic Gamesmanship (II+, 5.8) at Poke-O-Mooshine. The next day we headed to a new crag- Deadwater- for more clean cracks- and had the cliff all to ourselves- yet again!
